Who We Are

We are a strategic catalyst agency for and under the purview of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS).  As an impact-driven, non-profit company limited by guarantee (CLBG), Impact has three focus areas namely youth, esports and media across several flagship brands; Impact Malaysia, Picksum, Rakita 107.9, Esports Integrated, Spacerubix and mySukan TV.  All of our brands are dedicated to fulfilling their role under each focus area with each engaging with specific target audiences.

As a strategic catalyst, our roles involve bringing experience, expertise, and strategic methodologies to help catalyze, create, consult on, and innovate initiatives centered around youth and sports. We ensure that all our initiatives align strategically with KBS’ mission, vision, and goals.

Our vision is to be the leading catalyst for a sustainable development and empowerment of the youth community, esports ecosystem, and the media industry.  Through our holistic approach, we envision a future where youths thrive, becoming agents of change, pushing boundaries and shaping the world with compassion, resilience and creativity.

Our mission is to empower and uplift youth through the convergence of social impact, esports and media.  By providing learning resources, inclusive platforms, engaging content, and meaningful participations, we strive to inspire the youth to excel, innovate and positively impact their communities.

Corporate Structure

Board of Trustees

Impact Integrated also ensures a balanced but active involvement of the Board of Trustees in the management of the company. Quarterly board meetings are conducted to discuss key management issues. Transparency is ensured between management and the board to allow for an effective and ethical decision-making process, in managing and governing Impact Integrated.

Sheikh Farouk

Chairman

Sheikh Farouk is a highly accomplished finance professional with a diverse range of experiences in the corporate sector. He brings a wealth of expertise and strategic leadership to his current role as Chairman. From 2003 to 2021, he spent 18 years at the Nestle Group of companies, where he held various key positions. His roles within Nestle encompassed a broad spectrum of responsibilities and showcased his versatility and adaptability in the finance domain.

Notable positions held during his tenure at Nestle include Finance Project Manager for Zone Asia, Oceania, and Africa, Strategic Business Unit Controller, Global Finance Lead for Innovation and Renovation, Cash Management Advisor & Foreign Exchange & Risk Regional Manager, Facilities Services & Real Estate Lead for Nestle Business Services, Factory Financial Controller, and Business Unit Controller.

Norhidayati Zakaria

Norhidayati is a dedicated professional with a strong background in administrative and financial management. Her career spans several notable positions within the Malaysian government, where she has made significant contributions to various departments and organisations. In 2008, she joined the Accounting Division of the Prime Minister's Department.

In 2012, she transitioned to the Hospital Sultanah Nora Ismail, a part of the Ministry of Health Malaysia. In 2013, she then moved to the Organisational Development Division within the Public Service Department. In 2021, she had joined Government Investment Companies Division, Ministry of Finance. With her proven track record of success and dedication to public service, she continues to make valuable contributions to the Malaysian government.

Dr. Nagulendran Kangayatkarasu, or better known as Dr. Nagu, joined the Malaysian Government as a Diplomatic and Administrative Officer in 1995. A Chevening Scholar, he has been for most of his career worked on issues related to biodiversity, biosafety and environment. His doctoral studies at the University of Nottingham focused on biodiversity governance in Peninsular Malaysia. He has been involved mainly in policy formulation, developing legal frameworks, diplomacy and negotiations as well as stakeholder engagements on the many issues and facets of national and global environmental governance. He feels that it is a joined responsibility of all to ensure environmental concerns are mainstreamed into national and global socioeconomic development agenda. He too advocates that changes at an individual level to live in harmony with nature is a powerful catalyst to augment the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Recently, on 25 August 2021, Dr. Nagulendran had been appointed to MOSTI as the Deputy Secretary General of Planning and STI Enculturation. Among his main task is related to National Policy on Science, Technology and Innovation (NPSTI) 2021-2030, recognition and development of STI talent,, promotion of STI to the public, including STI enculturation to targeted groups, particularly students, as well as using STI as an enabler in addressing national challenges, policy formulation, project/program implementation and for foresight based on 10-10 MySTIE Framework..

Ahmed Faris Amir

Ahmed Faris Amir or widely known as Med is the CEO of Impact Integrated, a strategic catalyst agency for and under the purview of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS). A bachelor’s degree of Pure Physics from UiTM and a generalist by design, Med dabbled in a plethora of entrepreneurship ventures in education, food and beverages, events, fashion, tech, management consulting, and social activism, prior to his current stint.

Upon completing his task to audit, restructure, and remodel the government agency during his tenure as Acting CEO in early 2019, Med then spearheaded the founding of Impact Malaysia, Esports Integrated as well as mySukan TV and all other flagship programs and initiatives under Impact Integrated.

Nurul Azwa Mohd Rodzi

Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Azwa currently serves Impact Integrated as its Deputy CEO, leading multi-area operation on youth, media and esports development through Impact Malaysia, Esports Integrated, Rakita 107.9 and mySUKAN TV.

A highly experienced advocate in youth and community empowerment, her core expertise lies in effectively managing CLBG operations within fast-paced environments, while delivering results and driving growth.

At 28, she helmed two royal-backed organizations, impacting over 300,000 youth in Selangor and beyond through programmatic interventions and policies including some work at international level. In 2022, Azwa received several recognitions including Top 40 Under 40 by Prestige and 100 Changemakers in Malaysia.

Beyond professional work, Azwa enjoys volunteering in community projects and indulge in crafting wedding decorations.
