THE MALAYSIA ESPORTS LEAGUE (LIGA ESUKAN MALAYSIA) 2023 (MEL23) IS NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION.

  • Esports Integrated (ESI), an initiative under the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) to promote a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable esports ecosystem in Malaysia, once again organizes the Malaysia Esports League (Liga Esukan Malaysia) 2023 (MEL23) for its third anniversary, this year. 
  • The Malaysia Esports League is one of the key programs in the KBS 2020-2025 strategic plan for the development of Esports, which provides an inclusive competition platform for local grassroots esports talents. 
  • MEL23 is a part of the tournament circuit under the management of KBS and ESI, starting from grassroots levels such as State Leagues and National Levels (MEL), to local professional levels such as the Malaysian Esports Championship (MEC), and then to professionally organised tournaments such as the Mobile Legends: Pro League Malaysia and PUBG Mobile National Championship Malaysia. 
  • MEL23 this time is divided into two series, namely the State Leagues, National Level and Open Series, featuring seven game titles, that is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), PlayerUnknown’s Battleground Mobile (PUBGM) and eFootball Mobile for the State Leagues and National Level, while Dota 2, eFootball Console, Valorant and Tekken 7 will be played for the Open Series, offering cash prize worth RM 393,700.00. 
  • The registration for MEL23 State and National Levels is now open until August 23, 2023. Registration can be made through the official platform, esukan.gg, at the link mentioned https://www.esukan.gg/mel23
  • MEL23’s State Leagues will be held from 28th August to 5th November, while the National Level will start taking place from the 16th of October to 1st of November. 
  • As for the Open Series, registration will be open from 1st October to 26th October. 
  • MEL23 is an initiative organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) and Electronic Sports Industry (ESI) together with 16 State Electronic Sports Association as well as the Federal Territory Electronic Sports Associations, and is supported by Goodday as the (Official Beverage Partner), Rakita 107.9 as the (Media Partner), and Rakan Muda as the (Execution Partner).
