Free Transportation Assistance to PPV Through #ImpactTolongHantar Vaksin (ITH Vaksin) Program

Impact Malaysia has once again launched the third edition of the #ImpactTolongHantar (ITH) initiative, “#ImpactTolongHantar Vaksin (ITH Vaksin)” to help send target groups, especially vulnerable people, to vaccine centres (PPVs). Subsequently, Impact Malaysia also activated a group of young Impact Youth volunteers nationwide to help Malaysians in need.

ITH Vaksin helps send vulnerable people to PPVs

Impact Malaysia offers transportation assistance in the form of free e-hailing (GRAB) service or cash assistance for personal transportation costs to PPV through the ITH Vaksin program. This assistance is special for the vulnerable groups from the B40 category, Orang Asli, OKU and senior citizens.

In addition, ITH Vaksin also offers Peneman volunteer services for the elderly, the disabled and those who need this service for free.

ITH Vaksin has since started June 23, 2021 until the end of the vaccination program as will be announced by the Ministry of Health Malaysia later. Applications can be made online at the link bit.ly/ithvaksin.

Impact Youth volunteers

To support the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme in achieving its targeted goal of attaining herd immunity within the country, the ITH Vaksin is powered with the assistance of Impact Youth.

Impact Youth is a group of community mobilizers and volunteers in Malaysia ranging from the age of 18 – 35 years old. Besides coordinating with the initiative, Impact Youth community mobilizers and volunteers also help the target groups to register for vaccination via the MySejahtera app, coordinate the distribution of basic aid assistance for households in need and support the community who may be hit hardest during this pandemic.
