Assist in planning, coordinating and implementing all public relations events and efforts, including but not limited to launch ceremonies, opening ceremonies, press conferences, and all tasks to ensure maximum media coverage and exposure.
Contribute towards the understanding of Malaysia’s media landscape, and share expertise on each media outlet’s focus area and programs/sections available.
Expected to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders, articulately and eloquently in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and must genuinely like to talk to people and the media.
Comfortable and equipped to exercise and expand connections with all editors and producers especially media, entertainment, feature, and business media.
Responsible to build media and influencer contact database for the organization.
Support in the development and execution of influencer campaigns, including mapping, acquiring contact details, communicating and securing influencers.
Monitoring performance of PR and influencer activities and sharing reports to the team.
Write press releases, PR briefs, press kits and all copywriting needed for the purpose of maximizing coverage for the public.
Support to perform PR research and analysis, producing detailed reports to the team.
Contribute to the development and execution of strategic media relations and communications plans.
Identifying media trend from time to time and track related articles and write-ups in various online channels.
Assisting to cultivate and maintain media relations, coordinate media inquiries and proactively identify and secure editorial and interview opportunities.
Expected to assist in content creation whenever needed and assigned.
Expected to report to the Head of Group Communications.
Performs ad-hoc job-related duties as assigned.
